Mandatory or Prohibitory Laws

Art. 5 New Civil Code- Acts executed against the provisions of mandatory or prohibitory laws shall be void, except when the law itself authorizes their validity. Kinds of mandatory legislation a. Positive- something must be done. b. Negative/ Prohibitory- something should not be done.
